Eliza is working on the town's comprehensive plan, and leading efforts to support a sustainable community on the Cranberry Isles, with a focus on natural resources, energy conservation, and renewable energy. She collaborates with the Islesford School to develop curricula around conservation, and is continuing the work of her predecessor, Amanda Ravenhill, on food co-ops and island farming, as well as energy audits. Eliza is also collaborating with the Neighborhood House and exploring ways of funding conservation and rehabilitation projects.
Eliza is from Poquoson, Virginia, and received her B.S. in Forestry in 2006 from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee.
