Jackie oversees the human resources functions of the Island Institute, including managing and acquiring talent. She works closely with senior leadership and the board to strategically guide the organization.

With an undergraduate degree from California Christian Life College and a graduate degree in HR leadership from Sullivan University, Jackie brings over 20 years of HR experience in both the private and public sectors. During her human resources career, she has worked for the town and the school system of Lewiston and has also worked for the Maine State Legislature where she developed leadership programming aimed at developing the next generation of Maine leaders.

Jackie lives in Lewiston where she was born and raised. She has a husband of 26 years, two kids in college, and a dog named Chica. Jackie enjoys variety in life: traveling, adventuring outdoors, reading, baking, playing the piano, and singing.
