Mary Ann is Island Institute’s finance associate, a role in which she manages accounts payable and receivable, vendor management, and business administration. She joins Island Institute with a background in general ledger acounting, most recently working as the finance manager for a state-wide assisted living corporation.

Mary Ann is from western Maine, moved to southern Maine, and has now spent the last ten years in the Midcoast. She currently lives in Lincolnville with her husband, and she enjoys all things outdoors. Her hobbies include hiking with her two dogs, riding ebikes, ATVing, kayaking, and jet skiing in western Maine. She also continues pursuing knowledge and new experiences by taking adult education and personal enrichment classes in her spare time.
